I wrote an article called Preoxygenation, Reoxygenation, and Delayed Sequence Intubation in the Emergency Department (J Emerg Med. 2011;40(6):661).

Rather than writing a snarky response, instead I got Dr. Gill on the line and had an actual conversation about the points raised in their letter. You can play this conversation below. Great approach – rather than bash out through the letters pages of journals, get it all out in open via FOAMed, the best way to learn and develop ideas. Having met ya’ at SMACC2103, reckon you display both humility and a keenness to engage medics like we’ve never been challenged before. Good stuff.
